Official Lighting of Living Objects

Sunday, December 13th, 6PM
McCarren Park (between Union and Driggs)

Reception to follow at Light-Up Brooklyn (N. 11th Street b/t Driggs and Bedford)
NbPac-ers,
Please join us for the opening reception and official lighting of Living Objects by Jason Krugman, the latest project of the North Brooklyn Public Art Coalition (NbPac), on Sunday, December 13th. Show your support for public art in our community with local elected officials, artists, community businesses, and your fellow art lovers.  For a rare moment, McCarren Park will go dark at 6pm for the inaugural lighting of Living Objects!  Be there!

A reception will follow at Light-Up Brooklyn’s brand new showroom on North 11th between Bedford and Driggs.

Living Objects is a public art installation featuring three LED-lit sculptures in McCarren Park.  The illuminated figures will be one of the largest public art projects in the park’s history.

Jason Krugman’s Living Objects is presented by North Brooklyn Public Art Coaltion (NbPac), in collaboration with Open Space Alliance for North Brooklyn (OSA) and with support from NYC Department of Parks & Recreation.

Lead sponsorship for Living Objects has been provided by Light-Up Brooklyn. http://www.lightupbrooklyn.com/

Additional support is provided by Tillett Lighting Design, Inc., Crest Hardware, Open Space Alliance of Brooklyn, and NYC Department of Parks and Recreation.
